Ingredients
- 240 mL 1 cup whole milk
- 120 mL ½ cup warm water
- 60 mL ¼ cup; 57g unsalted butter, melted.
- 50 g ¼ cup sugar

- 9 g 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 large eggs room temperature (One is for the egg wash.)

- Maldon salt for finishing
Instructions
- Combine milk, water, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
- Sprinkle yeast over the mixture, stir, and let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a stand mixer or large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add beaten eggs to the yeast mixture, then combine with the dry ingredients. Mix for 10-15 minutes until roughly combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead by hand, adding flour as needed, until a smooth ball forms and it’s less sticky.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down dough, divide into rolls, and place on a baking sheet. Let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 190˚C (375˚F).
