- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 60 grams butter softened
- For the Glaze:
- 130 grams powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons orange juice
- Zest from 1 orange
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
- Bloom the yeast in warm water with orange juice.
- In a stand mixer with a dough hook, add the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt) and whisk to combine.
- Add the wet ingredients (yeast mixture, orange zest, egg, butter) and knead until the dough is smooth.
- Let the dough rise until it doubles in size.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Soften the butter.
- Assemble the Rolls:
- Punch down the dough.
- Roll the dough out into a 12 x 16-inch sheet.
- Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon brown sugar mixture over the butter.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut it into 12 buns using dental floss.
- Place the buns in a prepared baking dish for the second rise.
